NGC 2264 and the Christmas Tree cluster. Image was processed on SHO palette and took some liberty of manipulate the colors to make it more distinct for you to see. Happy with the results with only 3 hours of data. NGC 2264 is probably the most festive deep-sky object out there! It is a large emission nebula located 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Monoceros, and is famous for looking exactly like a Christmas tree.
