Fossil Footprint Nebula (NGC 1491)

Tonight, marks the peak of the Perseids Meteor Shower, so let's stay in the Constellation of Perseus. Remember your Greek mythology? Perseus was a demi-god who killed Medusa, and then saved Andromeda from the Sea Monster.

The bright star at the core makes this emission nebula glow, and if you look carefully, there is a partial bubble around it.
